Wake-up call for Myanmar's devastating cyclone Nargis December 26, 2004 was Tsunami, August 29, 2005 was Katrina. Now Cyclone Nargis in 2008, I did not think climate changes will affect this much to my country too. I always thought that our country is surrounded by big beautiful maintains and full of greenery forests would always save our country from any changes climate in the world. I overlooked our country's deforestation. I organised “May The World Be More Beautiful…” at The Arts House in Singapore on 20^th April, 2008. To celebrate memorable Earth Day 2008, one day charity show. I didn’t know the cyclone Nargis would hit our country by the time I was organising this event. The main reason I organise “May The World Be More Beautiful…” is in a way to prove that we remember and thank our mother earth not to mention to be aware of global environmental happenings. In this exhibition, you will not only see the environmental disasters in a very touching way through art but also the beauty of our mother earth. In fact we cannot even convey our gratitude to our mother earth that we are living. The beauty of our mother earth is everyone responsible. I look forward do our best to maintain the beauty of our mother earth and make it more beautiful. I cannot do it a lone. Everyone needs to aware and take part to make this mother earth more beautiful. In order to do effectively, I found the very inspiring youth organisation. National Environmental Agency's partner “Environmental Challenge Organisation, Singapore” which actively involves in environmental awareness projects. They make our youth more aware of the environmental happenings and motivate to start green living. 50% of proceeds this event will go to this “Environmental Challenge Organisation, Singapore”. World Environmental Day is coming. It will be on June 5^th 2008. “May The World Be More Beautiful…” will keep going until 5^th June, 2008 at AAG Studio. Only by advanced appointment for private viewing. Within this period the buyers can enjoy 50% tax exemption of total amount upon the participating artworks. Living beings are the mother earth’s friends as well as involuntary enemies if you may notice. The cause of Global warming is because of careless living beings. Climate changes are happening now all over the world. Our mother earth has been destroying. Our unintentional ways of living effect the climates changes. How shall we stop global warming hand in hand? Each and every one of us of behavioural changes will be a lot helpful to maintain the beauty of our mother earth.
